Potato curry****
Ingredients:
1.
Boiled Potato(उबला आलू)---3piece
(medium size)
2.
Green peas(हरा मटर)----150gms.
3.
Onion(प्याज़)---1 medium size (finely chopped).
4.
Cilantro(हरा धनिया)----for
garnishing.
5.
Green chili(हरी मिर्च)----2pieces(Chopped)
6.
Tomato(टमाटर)---2 medium size(grinded).
7.
Cumin seeds(खड़ा जीरा)-----1/2tsp.
8.
Kasoori methi(कसूरी मेथी)----1tbs.
9.
Bay leaves(तेज़ पत्ता)----1 piece.
10.
Cinnamon stick(दालचीनी )----1/2 inch.
11.
Ginger garlic paste(अदरख लहसन का पेस्ट) ----1 tbs.
12.
Cumin powder(जीरा पाउडर)---1/2 tsp(Roasted).
13.
Turmeric powder(हल्दी पाउडर)----1/2 tsp.
14.
Red Chili powder(मिर्च पाउडर)---1/2 tsp.
15.
Coriander Powder(धनिआ पाउडर) ----1 tsp.
16.
Garam masala Powder(गरम मशाला)----1/2tsp.
17.
Salt(नमक)---As per your taste.
18.
Cooking oil(तेल पकाने के लिए )----2 tbs.
19.
Water(पानी)---1 cup.
Method:
1.
Heat the pan and add oil to it.
2.
Once oil gets heated add cumin seeds, cinnamon
stick and bay leaves and cook it for few seconds.
3.
Now add onion to it and cook it till it turns
brown.
4.
Now add ginger garlic paste to it and cook it
for another minute.
5.
Add turmeric powder and red chili powder and
cook it for few seconds.
6.
Now add coriander powder and mix it well.
7.
Now add tomatoes to it, cook it on high flame for
3-4 minutes.
8.
Add green chili, salt and cook it for another
2-3 minutes on low medium flame.
9.
Now add green peas and cook it for 2-3 minutes
on low medium flame.
10.
Now add boiled pieces of potato and also mash
some of the potato pieces and add it, so that the gravy will be thick and
smooth.
11.
Mix it well and cook it for another 2-3 minutes
on low medium flame.
12.
Add garam mashal powder and roasted cumin powder
and mix it well.
13.
Now add water for gravy as per your need.
14.
Bring it to one boil on high flame and then cook
it for another 7-8 minutes on low medium flame with lid on.
15.
After 7-8 minutes switch off the flame and add Kasoori
methi to it and stir it well.
16.
Garnish with cilantro and serve. Serve hot….
